Michael Lohan has accused his ex-wife Dina of drinking with friends instead of attending family therapy with their daughter Lindsay.
The showbiz patriarch - who divorced Dina in 2005 and is estranged from his actress daughter - claims his former spouse missed family week at Lindsay's rehab centre, the Betty Ford Clinic in Los Angeles, because she was drinking wine with her best pal.
Michael claims his friend saw Dina leaving the Palm Desert hotel all dressed up for a night out, but bought 'big bottles of wine' from a nearby store instead after she was recognised by photographers.
He said: 'I can't believe Dina claims she's there to help Lindsay get back on track, and she goes out drinking the day before visiting her daughter in rehab. Clearly she's in this for herself.'
Dina is believed to have flown to Los Angeles from New York on Sunday (17.10.10) to spend Monday having family therapy with Lindsay in rehab - where she is part-way through a treatment programme.
However, Michael has accused Dina of trying to earn as much cash from their troubled daughter's situation as possible, and claims she was vying for TV stations to pay her to film the sessions with counsellors.
He told X17online: 'We already know she was trying to get camera crews to go with her while she went to Betty Ford. People don't realise that she's making a killing off of Lindsay's set-up shots. It's all about money to her.'
Michael has been banned from visiting Lindsay while she is in rehab by Dina with her daughter's consent.
